Pee Wee Gym

Lets get active! Activities include running and jumping games, obstacle courses, mini-basketball, kickball activities, soccer and much more. This class is a great way to introduce kids to sports and develop their social skills.

My Pictures, My Story ~ Making a Personalized Photo Album

Looking for a fun, creative activity for your kids? Kids will be guided through the process of photo selection, cropping, page design and journaling the stories behind the pictures. Kids will leave with a completed paper album showcasing their own creative style. The workshop fee includes an album kit of their choice, photo-safe journaling pen, refillable tape runner and a trimmer with built-in storage for photos and all their great tools.

Rock Climbing Camp

ECSD has teamed up with the Indoor Ascent (Formally known as Dover Indoor Climbing Gym) to offer this great 4 day rock climbing course. Topics will include proper belay techniques, gear selection and climbing technique. The cost includes harness, shoe rental and t-shirt. Don’t forget to pack a lunch and water bottle. Transportation not included.

Garden Club

Life's a garden...dig it! A fun and educational club where students can experience gardening right here in their own backyard. Activities such as: painting pet rocks, growing grass faces, nature walks and gardening around EES will be explored. Participants will gain an appreciation for the environment and have fun doing it!

Mountian Bike Club

This class will involve learning the basis of the sport, utilizing trails in the area. Emphasis will be on safe riding techniques while on and off the trail. Participants will need a bike, helmet and a water bottle. Volunteers are needed as we plan to do trips to local trails via cars.

Youth Cycling Club

Learn how to ride safely on the roads, fit your helmet correctly, tune your bike and more. Club will meet at the EES back parking lot. Must be comfortable on a bicycle - No Training Wheels. Volunteers are needed for this program.

Youth Softball League

Youth Softball is open to girls in 1st-5th grade. The goal of this program is to offer a less competitive atmosphere for girls that wish to participate in the game of softball. Coaches will emphasize skill development, good sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. Volunteer Coaches and Assistants are needed for this program!

Monkeying Around with Fleece

Don't be a rotten banana, come and make a pillow! Each participant will make an 11"x11" fleece tied pillow to keep for their very own. Pillow designs will vary. Children must be able to tie knots and work somewhat independently. All the materials needed will be provided. Pizza will be provided for dinner along with dissert.

Youth Tennis Lessons

Lessons will consist both of skill development and play. Each participant should bring a towel, water bottle, and racket. Intermediate classes will touch on more specific techniques and fundamentals of the game.

YMCA Summer Swim Lessons

YMCA instructors will assess the children's ability and teach them according to appropriate YMCA levels as one group. Each child will receive a certificate at teh end of the session that will reflect their YMCA skill level.

Fall Rec. Soccer

Rec. Soccer is open for boys and girls PreK-5th grade in September 2008. Youth will be placed on teams according to their grade. 1ST-2ND GRADERS & 3RD-5TH GRADERS WILL BE PLACED ON GENDER SPECIFIC TEAMS! The goal of this program is to offer a less competitive atmosphere for youth that wish to participate in the game of soccer. Coaches will emphasize skill development, good sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. Competition will be introduced minimally in the younger teams and will gradually increase in the older teams. Volunteer Coaches and Assistants are NEEDED for this program!
