Foot Care Clinic

Sponsored by York Hospital, this clinic provides seniors with lower leg and foot massages, foot inspections, toenail care and a foot soak in warm water. Appointments fill up quickly. Call (207) 451-9334 to make an appointment or to put your name on our waiting list.

Eliot Senior Citizens Monthly Meetings

The Eliot Senior Citizens group meets the second Wednesday of every month. Join us to stay informed about senior issues and events in Eliot. Meetings include lunch and guest speaker o entertainment. This program is free to all seniors.

Senior Appreciation Day ~ Turkey Dinner

On this day there will be a turkey dinner put on by the Board of Selectmen and the Eliot Town Employees. Please call Barbara at the Town Hall at 439-1813 to make your reservation. The last day to register for this event is Monday, May 9th. Pie donations for dessert are needed. Please call Julie at 451-9334 if you would like to bring a pie.

Wii Bowling League

Wii an interactive video game that takes very little skill or physical ability to play. You can even play from sitting in a chair. Participants will be divided into teams. Over the 5 week sessions scores will be totaled and recorded. At the end, there will be a final tournament, lunch and awards given. Feel free to bring a snack. Additional times may be added based on number of participants.

Senior Clambake

Enjoy your choice of lobster or lobster roll served with steamers, corn on the cob, roll, drink and dessert. The Youth Bound Summer Program will once again be on hand to serve your meal to you for this afternoon. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be on sale beginning June 1st. Deadline to purchase tickets is Tuesday, July 10th.

Senior Cookout

Senior ClambakeCome join us for the fourth annual senior BBQ. We’ll enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, beverages and desserts. Tickets are available for purchase in the ECSD office. Last day to purchase tickets TBA. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Victoria Mansion Holiday Tour with Lunch at Becky's Diner

Also known as the Morse-Libby House, the Mansion was built between 1858 and 1860 as a summer home for Ruggles Sylvester Morse, a Maine native who made his fortune in New Orleans as the proprietor of luxury hotels. The quality and preservation of its interiors make Victoria Mansion an unparalleled example of pre-Civil War grandeur. After our tour we’ll dine at Becky’s Diner located on the Portland Waterfront for lunch on your own.

Christmas Tree Shop, Chinese Buffet & More

One of our favorite trips is back again. We’ll shop to we drop in Portland. The bargains will be numerous from the after holiday sales. Then it’s off to a grand buffet of Chinese and American food. After lunch we’ll head to the Dollar Store and Reny’s in Wells.

Joppa Flats Education Center & Michael's Harborside Restaurant

Just because its winter doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy nature. We’ll visit the Mass Audubon Society’s Joppa Flats center in Newburyport, MA. Joppa Flats program participants have recorded over 300 species of birds including the bald eagle, snowy owl, many warblers, shorebirds, and waterfowl. This is an indoor presentation. You will have the option to take an outside tour if you would like. Please dress accordingly if going outside. Our day will end with a great lunch at Michael’s Harborside Restaurant. This will be the perfect ending to the perfect day.
