KidsPLAY Before & After-School
It is the goal of KidsPLAY to offer a well-rounded program that encourages
kids to have fun, continue the endless process of learning, take healthy
risks and develop socially. Children enrolled in the program will have
an opportunity to:
- Make healthy choices
- Participate in small or large group activities
- Participate in quiet activities, including homework
- Have free play
- Play outside
- Enjoy one on one time with a staff member, if desired
- Develop new relationships
- And more!
KidsPLAY is a licensed childcare center with the State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services and operates at the Eliot Elementary School Cafeteria.
Before & After-school care is available Monday through Friday, including early release days, workshop days, and school vacations. It is not provided on snow days. The hours of operation and cost are:
Before-School Care Only:
- 7:00 am - 8:30 am
- $4.00 per day; minimum of two days per week
After-School Care Only:
- 2:50 pm - 6:00 pm
- $16.00 per day; minimum of two days per week
- $18.00 per day; Drop in (24 hours notice) as space allows
Before and After School Care:
- 7:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:50 pm - 6:00 pm
- $18.00 per day
All-Day Care (workshops and vacations):
Early Release Days:
- 11:15 am - 6:00 pm
- $20.00 per day
- ($2 discount for those enrolled in before or after school program)
Please note, KidsPLAY will be closed on all state of Maine legal holidays, the day before and after Thanksgiving, and Winter Break.
