Dixon Road Ice Rinks
The rinks are located behind the Police Station and next to the Town Hall.
Access to the rinks is from Dixon Road. Parking for the ice rinks is not
permitted at the Town Hall. Limited parking spaces are available next to
the red barn on Dixon Road; additional parking is available at the Eliot
Elementary School.
The Community Service Department supervises the maintenance of the rink; however the ECSD is not liable for injuries that may occur as a result of skating on the ice.
It is highly recommended that children under the age of 18 be supervised by a parent or guardian.
The rinks will be open as weather permits. Please pay attention to the signs at the ice rinks, which indicate whether the rinks are open or closed. Please do not use the rink when it is partially frozen, as this will ruin the ice. Maintenance to the ice may cause the rink to be closed during otherwise normal hours of operation.
Directions
Route 95 North
- Take exit 1 in Maine (Eliot, Navy Yard and Dennett Road)
- Bear right off exit onto Dennett Road/State Road
- Follow road approx. 2.5 miles
- Bear left onto Dixon Road (just past the entrance for Eliot Elementary School)
Route 95 South
- Take Exit 2 for Route 236
- Turn left at the end of exit, heading toward South Berwick and Eliot
- Follow Rt. 236 for approx. 2.5 miles
- After the Eliot Commons, turn left at the set of lights onto Beech Road
- Follow Beech Road to the end and turn right onto State Road
- Bear left onto Dixon Road (just past the entrance for Eliot Elementary School
