DATE/TIME: Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 8:30am.
START/FINISH: Eliot Fire Station, State Road (Rte. 103), Eliot, Maine.
FEE: $17.00 Pre-Registration (must be postmarked by September 21, 2009), Race day registration $20.00. No Refunds.
PRE-REGISTRATION: Pre-Register in person, Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Eliot Fire Station.
Pre-registered runners can pick-up their number/chip in person on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 6:00pm-8:00pm or Saturday, September 26, 2009 after 6:45am at the Eliot Fire Station.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: 6:45am – 8:00am, Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Eliot Fire Station
COURSE: Fast 5K Loop, USATF Certified Course, ChampionChip® Timing. Race Map.
RACE FEATURES: Walkers Welcome, Great Post-Race Food & Beverages supplied by area businesses, Raffle, Live Music, Granite State Race Services, Parking, Awards Ceremony.
Directions
Eliot, Maine is easy to find and a short drive from points in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Eliot is one hour north of Boston and one hour south of Portland.
Traveling Rte. 95 North: Take Exit 1 in Maine (1/2 Mile after going over the Piscataqua River Bridge) onto (Dennett Road-Route 103-Eliot-Navy Yard exit). At the stop sign turn right. Follow this road (Dennett Road which turns to State Road in Eliot) straight for 2.5 miles to race area and parking. Signs will be posted from Route 95 exit to race area and parking. ARRIVE EARLY!
Traveling South on Rte. 95 in Maine: After York Toll, take Exit 2 (Route 236-Kittery-South Berwick exit) to stop sign. Take a left onto Route 236 North. Follow Rte. 236 North for 2.4 miles to 4-way traffic light. At light take a left onto Beech Road for 1 mile to a stop sign. Take a right on State Road and go 600 yards to designated parking area on the right. ARRIVE EARLY!
Please Arrive Early!
You must be parked in the parking area by 8:00am as the roads will then close to prepare for the race. The road will re-open to allow cars to exit the parking area after the race. The road will close again between 10:00am and 12:30pm for the Parade.
