Fundraiser to benefit Boat Basin Park Improvements

Winnie the Birthday GirlWe’ll have a howling good time as we spend a day with our pets. There’ll be music, games, vendors, raffles and lots more. Don’t miss out on this chance to celebrate the end of cabin fever and the beginning of outdoor play. Booths are available to rent for this event, call the ECSD for more information.

Dogs will be available for adoption from Almost Home Rescue of Maine. Last year 3 dogs were adopted and found new homes through this event. Let’s see if we can double that this year. Your new best friend is waiting!

 

Scheduled Events: Dog Adoptions from Almost Home Rescue, Nail Clippings, Silent Auction, Raffles, Doggie Services, and more!

Vendor Booths Available: Booth spaces will be a 12’ x 12’ area and will be available for only $10.00 each. Each vendor will be responsible for their own set up. This includes tables, chairs and tent. There is no electricity at this site and generators are not allowed. Also, this is a rain or shine event and no refunds will be given. Vendor Applications available here.

Bicentennial Cookbook

To celebrate the Bicentennial of Eliot in 2010 we've put together a Town of Eliot cookbook. We asked that all the recipes be a part of family history and not from another cookbook. We received over 300 recipes from families all around town. Some recipes were originally published in the Eliot Centennial Cookbook! Cookbooks are now only $10.00 each and can be picked up at the ECSD office in the Fire Station.

Current Fundraising Needs

Park Improvements Fund - including Frost Tufts irrigation, park benches, park trees and other improvements.

Community Center Fund - We accept monetary and in-kind (volunteer or materials) donations at our various fundraisers.

Brochure Sponsors - purchase an ad for our next brochure.

Special Event Sponsors - Sponsor one of our many special events. Many of our events are held free to the public or at minimal cost. In order for these events to run successfully, we rely on the support of volunteers and business or participant donations.

Athletic Team Sponsors - Sponsor a youth or adult sports team and have your business name on the back of the team shirts.
