Upcoming Events

National Night Out is a unique crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. NNO will feature a cook out, contests, youth and family activities, entertainment and helpful resources on drug prevention awareness and crime prevention.

Family Camp Out & Red Neck Games - Camping will take place at the Eliot Boat Basin. We will have a “Tent Decorating Contest” so bring what you’ll need to jazz up your tent.

YMCA Summer Swim Lessons - YMCA instructors will assess the children's ability and teach them according to appropriate YMCA levels as one group.

Tennis Lessons - Lessons will consist both of skill development and play. Each participant should bring a towel, water bottle, and racket.

4th, 5th, & 6th Grade Summer Basketball League - Enjoy playing summer basketball outside on the hard top at Frost Tuft's Park! This would be a great opportunity for players to work and develop their game

Summer Sports Camps - The First Tee Golf Camp, Seacoast United Soccer Camps, Marshwood Football Camps, Marshwood Girls Lacrosse Camp, Harlem Wizards Basketball Camp, Dance Camps!

Family Pick-up Baseball - Baseball season is over and school has yet to begin, so let’s make the most of what’s left of summer. Every week we’ll meet for a pick up game of baseball. We’ll split up the families into teams and have some fun. Everyone will get a chance to play.

Funtown/Splashtown & Water Country Discount Tickets

ECSD is offering discount tickets to Funtown/Splashtown and Water Country through the Maine Recreation and Park Association. Save a significant amount of money and time at the gate by purchasing your tickets through us. Funtown/Splashtown tickets are $26.00 (that's 25% off the gate price!) and Water Country tickets are $28.00 (save 22% off the gate price!)

Bicentennial Cookbook

To celebrate the Bicentennial of Eliot in 2010 we've decided to put together a Town of Eliot cookbook. We ask that all the recipies be a part of your family history and not from another cookbook. To add your recipe to the cookbook, go to G & R Publishing and enter ECSD as the username and ECSD as the password, then click "Add a Recipe". Please use the suggested abbreviations listed on the left.

Welcome

The mission of the Eliot Community Service Department is to enrich the community through quality recreation programs, parks and facilities; promote healthy, active lifestyles; and respond to the recreation and leisure needs of residents with professionalism and dedication.

The ECSD provides recreation and leisure programs for toddlers through senior citizens, operates summer and after-school care programs for youth, and manages the parks and recreational facilities in Eliot.
